Think and grow rich was the very first
non-fiction book I read. I pick this book for the very first time back in 2018
when I completed my school. The reason to pick this book is I was searching for
the answers like what should I do next after completing school, I started
searching on Youtube for my questions while searching on Youtube I got one
video as a recommendation whose title was
“14 books you should read by Puneet Biseria “ on a channel named Puneet
Biseria and in the video narrator shared 14 books which he thinks everyone
should read, narrator especially emphasizes on reading these books in an order
and the first book he suggest was “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. So
that’s how I bought this book and began my reading journey.
About The Book:-
This book was written by Napoleon Hill who was an American writer. Hill wrote this book in 1937 with the motivation of helping people to earn a monetary fortune through the principles and processes followed by American giants like Henry Ford, Thomas A. Edison, Andrew Carnegie, Rockefeller, Theodore Roosevelt, etc. To write this book, he interviewed hundreds of well-known Americans of his time, including the names which I already told you. Hill also wants to tell people that riches can be accumulated by anyone who wants them from his/her heart and follows the principles in this book. But it turns out that this book will not only help you in making a monetary fortune but will also inspire you to achieve and create the targets which will surely make a difference in your life in terms of success and well-being. The title may suggest that this book is all about money but don’t let yourself be fooled because this book and much more than just a finance book. Around 80% of self-help books are based on the principles which are given in this book.
